Selena Gomez Bible Study: Singer Attends 'Star-Studded' Bible Group

HOLY ROLLER?

Hollywood's most star-studded hot spot isn't any of the clubs you've read about, but rather a Bible study group that hosts the likes of some of the biggest young stars.

Us Weekly reports that Selena Gomez, along with pal Vanessa Hudgens and "90210" star Matt Lanter, all attend monthly gatherings organized by E! correspondent Jason Kennedy, at a Beverly Hills hotel's conference room for "coffee and conversation."

Sources told the magazine that Gomez's ex-boyfriend (or maybe not-so-ex-boyfriend) Justin Bieber has also attended the group and his mother, Pattie Mallette, is a regular.

It's not too surprising, given that Bieber and Gomez have both spoken about what their faith means to them before, and it's no wonder RadarOnline is reporting that Mallette has been "pushing hard" for the former couple to reconcile.

Since their last breakup, the 18-year-old pop star seems to be acting out and hanging out with whom some might say are a bad influence on the singer.

Sources told the website that Mallette was always close to Gomez and was impressed by what a good influence she'd been on her son. In fact, last month it was reported that Gomez was actively trying to surround herself with "positive influences," which included getting back into the studio and attending a popular Bible study group.

“Pattie’s been pushing hard for Justin to get back with Selena. However, Selena doesn’t want to associate with the crowd Justin’s been hanging out with lately as she thinks they’re not to be trusted," a source revealed to RadarOnline, adding that it was one of his so-called friends who sold photos of him allegedly smoking weed.

According to the website's insider, Gomez is very careful as to whom she surrounds herself with, and she has no interest in getting back with Bieber if he has surrounded himself with what she thinks are "really shady people."

"Pattie believes though that if Selena would just get back together again with Justin she could soon get him back on the straight and narrow," the source told RadarOnline.

The Biebs' mother might be getting her wish, since the former pop star couple are rumored to have made up yet again. On Saturday, Gomez was spotted leaving Bieber's place after reportedly staying the night at his house, and later that night, the two were spotted sitting front row together for the girl group YLA's private concert at Soho House in West Hollywood.
