Zimbabwean farmer forgives men who had beaten him up

Ben Freeth and his father-in-law were fighting a legal battle to keep their farm in Zimbabwe when they were abducted and savagely beaten by supporters of President Robert Mugabe who has waged a long running war on the country's white farmers.

Freeth told Stephen Sackur that he was religiously inspired to forgive his attackers even as he was lying tied on the floor with a fractured skull.
